On the Sixten B2B shop, every order is paid securely. When you check out, you choose between two payment methods: card, processed by Stripe, or bank transfer.
Instant payment
Card payment with Stripe
Card payments are handled by Stripe, a payment provider certified PCI-DSS Level 1, the highest level of certification in the payments industry.
- Visa
- Mastercard
- CB
- American Express
- Your card details are entered in a secure Stripe form: they never pass through our servers and we never have access to them.
- Payments are authenticated with 3D Secure when your bank requires it (approval in your banking app or by text message).
- Your card is charged when you place the order, which goes straight into preparation.
Paid by your accounts department
Bank transfer
Bank transfer suits large orders, or when payment goes through your accounts department.
- Choose “Pay by bank wire” when you place the order.
- Our bank details (account holder, IBAN, BIC) are shown on the order confirmation page and sent to you by email.
- Put your order reference in the transfer description, so that we can match it.
- Your order is prepared as soon as the funds reach our account, usually within 1 to 3 working days for a SEPA transfer.
A site secured end to end
- Every page of the site is served over HTTPS: everything exchanged between your browser and our shop is encrypted (TLS).
- Sixten never stores any card data.
- Your account and billing details are only used to process your orders.
Invoices and VAT
An invoice is issued for every order. It is available in your account, under “Order history”, and you can download it as a PDF at any time.
Prices and VAT depend on your company details (country, EU VAT number) given when your business account was opened. Please keep them up to date in your account.
Frequently asked questions
My card payment was declined, what should I do?
Check the card number, expiry date and security code, and the card's spending limit. If 3D Secure authentication failed, try the payment again or contact your bank. You can also pay by bank transfer.
Is my order held while I make the transfer?
Yes: it is recorded with the status “Awaiting bank wire payment” and goes into preparation as soon as the payment is received.
Who pays the bank charges?
A SEPA transfer in euros is usually free. For an international transfer or one in another currency, your bank's charges are yours to pay: the amount received must match the order total.
A question about a payment?
Write to us through our contact form, with your order number: our team will get back to you quickly.
